UKRAINE FOR EURO 2012


For the first time in history, Euro Cup will hold in East Europe, Ukraine and Poland. It will be the 14th Euro Final competition. 
The competition will use four stadiums in four cities of Ukraine

 
  • Olympic stadium



Located in the center of Kiev city, which is the capital of Ukraine, the  stadium will hold the Final of Euro Cup followed with the closing ceremony. It can accommodate for around 68.000 fans.  It makes the stadium as the largest one in Ukraine. The host will have the first opportunity to fell the stadium against Sweden on June 11th. 

  •  Lviv Arena



The Stadium is specially build for Euro 2012. Built from 20 November 2008 until October 2011, its capacity is only for 34.915 attendances. The stadium become the smallest among the other sevens that hold the games. It is located in north of the Lviv city downtown. The event in Group B will be arranged in this stadium.

  • Metalist Stadium



It is located less than 5 kilometers from the downtown of Kharkiv city. Its capacity is 38.633 seats. Three games of Group B will be held in this stadium. 

  •  Donbass Arena



    Located across the Lenin Comsomol Park, the stadium is 16 kilometers from Donetsk international Airport.  It is the home of Shaktar Donetsk, which can accommodate 52.518 attendances. The Group D games will hold in this stadium.
